When stating rates, I prefer to look at each project on an individual basis. After all, we each think differently, we each write differently, we each read differently. Some people even write differently on different days. Some of you paid attention in school; some—well, some just thought they had better things to do! Everyone is different; every project is different. So, why should I charge every single one of you the same price for a different job?
I don’t think I should.
So, I offer three different pricing plans. (And, remember, initial estimates and consultations are free—always!)
By the Project
All I need is a sample. What you'll get is a guaranteed maximum estimate price and a proposed deadline. Oh, and a free sample edit!
By the Hour
If you have a quick project and an immediate turnaround or if you are just beginning to discover the world of editing, this might be the best way to start . . .
Buy the “Monopoly Plan”
If you need a higher level of attention than the "usual" client or a deeper level of commitment, you can hire me as your own personal editor and not share my mind with anyone else!
